Polio, are you willing to go now?

Polio has been an issue of great challenge for the policy makers and executing authorities in the past decade or so. This debilitating disease has been eradicated from most of the countries except for few SEAR and African countries India stands tall.. In spite of herculean efforts by the Govt of India and WHO, Polio always ended up on being the winning side. But there seems to be a glimpse of victory for the authorities as this year ie. from 13th jan 2011 to 12th jan 2012 there were NO POLIO CASES in the country.
